Feel more prepared to recognize when someone may be in crisis, ask directly about suicide, and respond with care.
CARE Suicide Intervention Training is a new four-hour training developed by CONTACT Care Line to help people feel more prepared to recognize when someone may be in crisis, ask directly about suicide, respond with care, and support the person in taking a step toward safety. The curriculum was created with input from CONTACT’s suicide prevention professionals and University of Tennessee faculty, with support from the Trinity Health Foundation of East Tennessee. CARE is designed to be practical, approachable, and useful for community members who want greater confidence navigating difficult conversations.
