Join United Way’s “Can”paign
HELP LIVE UNITED IN BLOUNT COUNTY
THE “CAN”PAIGN DURING THE CAMPAIGN
“Can”Paign is a county-wide competition pitting companies against similar-sized companies in the quest for the most pounds of food donated per employee.
The “Can”Paign runs for two weeks during the fall campaign season. Your business will collect as much canned and boxed food as possible. You will weigh the food and report it to United Way. Awards for each category will be given out at the United Way of Blount County Victory Celebration.
Here are the award categories:
Peas: 1-24 employees
Corn: 25-49 employees
Green Beans: 50-99 employees
Peanut Butter: 100-399 employees
Tuna: 400 and up employees
