Acknowledging Bias: Helpful Guidance and Tools to Increase Our Understanding of Those We Serve

United Way of Blount County, in partnership with Omega Daughter, LLC, is proud to present a workshop to our partner agencies entitled:  “Acknowledging Bias: Helpful Guidance and Tools to Increase Our Understanding of Those We Serve.” The Honorable Stephanie M. Jones (Founder & CEO of Omega Daughter, LLC) will provide two identical trainings, the first on July 21, 2023 and the second on August 18, 2023 (please only attend one to offer space for others), to educate us on acknowledging bias and how to mitigate our bias, what it means to be a servant-leader, and how we can increase our understanding of those we serve through our respective non-profits.
